Alice's parents Henry Alexander Barker (of H A Barker & Sons, Undertakers in London) and Lizzie nee McGarrell had a 'getaway' in Gorse Cottage, Westleton, later retiring there before WWII. The whole family frequented Gorse Cottage, and although Alice and Stanley lived in Fulham, were obviously in Westleton when their young daughter died. |
