Dear Charles, Thank you for sending me the image of the grave marker of George Shapland from St. Brannock's Church cemetery in Braunton, Devon, England. After further searching through family records, it is not the George Shapland I was looking for. I believe the marker I am seeking is one that includes Margaret, George and Grace Shapland in the St. Paul's Church, Landkey, Devon, England. This would be the great grandparents of my great grandfather, Simon Shapland. I really appreciated your prompt response to my earlier request. This is a great service you have offered. I will be sending photos of Shapland family members buried in Grand Rapids township, Grand Ridge, Illinois, USA after we visit the family plot later this year.
