I Live in Searcy, Arkansas, USA My Ancestor was John Bobbitt from Beccles, Suffolk He entered the US in the 1820's going to Washington, DC as a surveyor He traveled to the stare of Alabama where he narried and was on the 1820 census http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~alshelby/census1820.html He died in the 1830's in the state of Tennessee where he lived at that time His family later traveled to Arkansas Thanks Chird Bobbitt www.bobbittville.com

trying to discover who and whom I was apart of and hopefully I can leave a record for my children and grandchildren so they want have to wonder like I did for so many years.I realize that is not a very good reason but I just can't explain my feelings or the need I feel about why I have spent so many years trying to get to where I can say you done it.But Thank You so much for anything you can do to help me.
