Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

John and Phoebe Sampson were my wife's great grandfather and grandmother. The other names are of three of their sons. My wife's grandmother was their eldest daughter, Clara. When my wife was a child Clara would take her for a walk round the cemetery on a Sunday afternoon, but she cannot recollect seeing this stone.

John and Phoebe Sampson are my Great great Grandparents. They were the parents of Olive Sutherland nee Sampson and the grandparents of my grandfather Norman John Sutherland. I am compiling a family tree and would love to be in touch with the relatives.
