Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I am a direct descendant of the Boyes Family who were Baptised, Married and Buried in Kirkdale for centuries. Parish records go back to Charles Boyes and Anne Duill who were married there in 1585. As a result, many members of my family tree are of the area. George Cooper is the father of my Great Great Grandmother Sarah Jane Cooper, who married John Boyes, of the Boyes family of Kirkdale, and her Father George was a Blacksmith there. I am researching my family, but feel strongly about giving life to those who came before and not just contenting myself with a list of dates and names. I think that much of the information I have may be of assistance to you in verifiying dates that are no longer discernable on Tombstones etc. I stumbled across your site quite accidentally while researching the area and the Curch in particular which is such a key part of so many peoples lives, through such a long period of history. I hope I can be of assistance to you. Most Sincerly, Julie.
