Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I am currently researching the murder of Arnold Guy Vivian, whose details appear on the CWGC website. He was shot on 15/9/43 after escaping from a train taking British POWs from Italy to Germany following the capitulation of Italy on 8/9/4. Lieutenant ARNOLD GUY VIVIAN 149125, 6th Bn., Grenadier Guards who died age 28 on 15 September 1943 Son of Guy Noel and Norah Blanche Vivian, of Woodbridge, Suffolk. Remembered with honour PADUA WAR CEMETERY Grave/Memorial Reference: I. A. 2. Vivian was taken prisoner during action at Mareth Line in March 43 and was at that time serving with 6th Battalion Grenadier Guards. Through another site, I am also trying to obtain copy photos of headstone at Padua, Italy, but I would very much appreciate a copy of any photo of the headstone and if possible a close up of the family memorial entry for AG Vivian. He is confirmed as their son in the cwgc record, and it would be interesting to follow this up to find any living relatives. His mat. uncle Roger Quilter dedication a publication to his nephew's memory. If you can supply an image, I would be keen to place it on my website admin@ww2guards.com and on the forum of which I am a moderator. It is purely a commemorative matter, no profits from any internet publication. I would not only give photo credit to the photographer, but also this website. I would be happy to supply a link for checking/approval once the information is up on the web. Many thanks for reading this and for offering such a wonderful service online. Much obliged Diane Flanagan

I think Arnold Vivian was the son of Elizabeth and perhaps Guy. He was murdered by the Nazis with Lord Brabourne in Italy serving the Grenadiers and the Regiment would like to trace his family and learn more about his background. No one has claimed his dog tags and his murder has been well researched by the Grenadiers. Thank you
