Alan was husband of Diana and father of Catherine and Jonathan. He was a gentle quiet man, good at drawing and painting, and a conscientious boss for the people at the Prudential who worked for him. He was a churchwarden in Westerfield for a while. He suffered from depression at periods in his life, and committed suicide when he was 52. We, his family, will love him forever.
