Charles Whaley SPURGEON seems to be born Nov. 6, 1802 in Ingoldisthorpe NFK, son of Christopher and Eleanor Palgrave. He died in Cromer NFK July 14, 1851 and married July/september 1840 in Bromley Kent Catherine BATHURST, daughter of Rev. Robert and Jane Norris. Solicitor and attorney, he is the father of Emmeline Elizabeth who seems to be born in Mitford NFK Sept. 12, 1841 (she married a french citizen near Paris and had descendants) and Laura Sophia who is born in King's Lynn Feb. 1st, 1843, died in London Chelsea Dec. 13, 1912 and married in London Kensington oct/dec. 1869 Alexander Henn GOSCHEN, brother of Lord George 1st Viscount G. and Sir Edward 1st Baronet G, no descendants.
