Sister of Mercy in the Convent of the Sisters of Mercy Clifford. Born Dublin 1879. Daughter of Michael and Margaret Cusack. Michael Cusack was a founding member of the GAA, the largest sporting organisation in Ireland. The main stand in Croke Park Stadium Dublin is named in his memory. Sister Gabriel's sister Margaret Clare died in Bradford in 1955 and is buried close to her sister in St. Edwards Cemetery.
