Please note that all ages and dates of birth in red have been calculated and are probably not on the monument.

The calculated dates of birth should be treated with caution as in many cases it can be one year out.

The calculated dates of birth should also be treated with caution as the ages given on monuments are often inaccurate.

The names above are all the names that are listed on the grave monument. It is most likely that only the entries with dates and ages are interred in the grave.

Reasons why the image for this monument was requested

I am researching the Dunsmure family history and am interested in verifying details that I can't get to myself, as I live overseas. I appreciate your time in photographing and managing this database--it is a valuable resource for those of us who cannot otherwise see how families are recorded and remembered in the UK. Thanks for your help!
It links to my research on the Birley family and in particular a Grade 2 listed monument in the churchyard. I have emailed Charles and volunteered my information to him. Although I get many hits on my sites it is because someone must be searching as I do not advertise as a business would. www.lazylikesunday.net --- the stonechaser blog.
I was excited to find a photo of the headstone of my 3xGreat Grandparents James and Susan Dunsmure but unfortunately I can't enlarge to read the inscription. I will thank you now and be assured I will definately be one that WILL thank you once I receive it. Thanks Liz
