My brother and I live in New Zealand and wehave some details of this side of the family. This image would greatly add to our information, and one day, we may also visit this cemetery to sight the actual grave stone. Thank you in advance. Graham Minnoch

These are relatives of my Fathers family the name was changed somehow at the time that they came to America. Possibly in error as a registered passage mistake. Illiteracy was quite common so in these registrations some times the person doing the registration at ports of entrance would either mistanly record the name wrong or wrote its a best interpreted. We do know that our Minnich / Minnick relatives who settled in the area of Abingdon, Washington County Virginia were from Wigtown, Scotland as there is mention of the place of origin for the family.

I have been looking for my 3rd Great Grandfather James Harper Born 1794 for several years. Could this be him I do not know till I ask. My James Harper Was born in Ireland but moved to Scotland early 1800
