		Kate Marian Dally	1868	81	1949					According to the Suffolk Painters website: DALLY, Kate Marian 1867 - 1949 Born at St John's Wood, Hampstead, London in 1867, daughter of John Dally (1828-1892), a French merchant & manufacturer, and his wife Sarah Ann n�e Benham, who married at Islington in 1857. In 1871 a 3 year old living at Belton Road, Hampstead with her parents, 42 year old John and 31 year old Sarah Ann, with six siblings but her mother died in 1876 when the family moved to Eaton Villa, 4 High Road, Loughton, Essex. Her father died in 1892 and in 1901 Kate was a 33 year old art teacher living with her 38 year old brother Edwin Bertram, at 31 Pembroke Road, Ilford, Essex and was still there in 1911. In 1932 she exhibited from 59 Windsor Road, Ipswich, where she lived for many years, an oil 'Bramford' in 1935 she exhibited 'Ancient Building, Campsea Ash' and in 1937 another oil 'A Middlesex Village'. She died at Sudbury, Suffolk in 1949, aged 81, she was unmarried.
