The Reverend David Ritchie 1762 to 1844 Being able to view the Gravestone of the Reverend Ritchie will no doubt help no end in a linked search. I am also very impressed at the speed in which my request has been processed. There is so much more to looking at an old or ancient monumental description. I have in the past found it to be a kind of trigger and on one occasion at least when I found that there was no marker at all in a cemetery the unexpected happened. The ancestor at that time wasn't even one of mine, just someone that I had been asked to help find in Australia by someone else in England. Within the week that ancestor's grand-daughter walked into our office and in only a few moments I not only learned who she was but every vital detail about her grand-father. Two months later the grand-daughter was able to call on and see her long lost cousin in Yorkshire. Never give up, Malcolm Hutton
