Nicholsons in Hartlepool
Thanks so much for the photo of the grave of Mary Nicholson (ne้ Alcock), d.13.08.1859. She was my 3x great grandmother. Her children who died in infancy have helped to fill some holes in my tree. Interestingly, Mary and husband Michael (d. 1870 - buried elsewhere) re-used the names of deceased children, Michael and Eleanor, for children born later: Michael (my 2x great grandfather), b. 1846, and Eleanor, b. 1849.
