Memory of a friend with Alzheimer's A friend with Alzheimer's (Ray) suddenly remembered the name of the father of a friend from school. I was wishing to help his memory and giving him something to tie his memories with. The father was Harry Bellarby Coates and he was the director (?) of the Grimsby hospital immediately prior to, and during, WW2. They lived in a big house in Grimsby. According to the London Gazette he received a gong for services to the Civil Defence in (or around) 1945.
