Please note that all ages and dates of birth in red have been calculated and are probably not on the monument.
You should treat the calculated dates of birth with caution as the ages given on monuments are often inaccurate.
The dates and ages on many monuments are also often hard to read.
It is therefore important to use the dates as guides as they may be incorrect.
The same person may appear many times in the above list.
This is because a person can easily be listed on many different monuments.
For instance, a person could be listed on their own grave as well as on the gravestone monuments of their children and their spouse.
Occasionally names will be duplicated because the monument has in error been photographed and indexed twice.
Where a relationship is shown as unknown, this usually means that parts of the monument are illegible and relationship cannot be read.
Where no relationship is given this means that this is normally the first name on the monument.
All the relationships on any particular monument relate to this first named individual.

Thank you very much for providing the images of my Great Grandmother Mary Grace Hill's grave, also for the links that I will follow up at a later date.
Many thanks once again for this fantastic resource.
What a fantastic service! Quick, efficient and FREE! Congratulations to everyone involved with this great website.
Again your website has connected 3 generations of the Young (& Turner) families for which we had very little information.
Greatly appreciated as these facts brought us to discover a great more about all parties.
Very prompt and helpful
Thanks so much for access to the details on this headstone. These details vary from the parish burial record. Very puzzling!
I am trying to trace the origin of my ancestor, Thomas Turner, who was last confirmed residing in West Wretham, Norfolk, in the early 1800's. His wife, Elizabeth Tuffs, came originally from South Pickenham. Thomas had been the Warrener at Bromehill Warren on the Weeting Estate and Elizabeth had worked in the manor at Weeting Hall. They married in 1778.
There is an 1836-37 Register of the Electors for the Western Division that records a Thomas Turner living at Thorpe Farm, West Wretham. I have long assumed that this must be the same Thomas Turner that moved there with his wife and family about 1790 from Weeting. After all, how many Thomas Turners would move to a place with only a handful of residences? However, I have never been able to find a record of burial for either Thomas, or his wife Elizabeth, in Wretham or any where near by.
One theory is that the parents had gone to live with their children or grandchildren. Some did live in the Pickenham/Swaffham area at about this time. This burial is certainly one of interest to me in my search.
Thanks very much for the images of Philip Turner's grave, especially for the speedy response. What a great service.
Thank You so much for sending me the picture of Alfred Turner's Headstone. I am still not sure if there is any connection to John Turner b@1772 but I am hoping. I am so thankful for the help as I can't search in the area myself.
Thank you so much as i would never have been able to go to the cemetery myself to see them
Fantastic website I stumbled across. Will be using this again.
Thank you for the information it was appreciated.
Many thanks for sending so quickly the gravestone photo re Carol E. Turner & father Arthur E. Turner in Yorkshire. This has been enormously helpful in researching a branch of our Young family who married Arthur Turner.

Thank you so much for the photo you have forwarded to me. I am very grateful and praise all your effort and hard work, long may it continue, for all those people like me who are building a family tree, especially if like me it is not easy to come back to the Uk to do the research needed, so again a very big THANK YOU!!!
Just Saying Thanks!
I am writing to say a huge thank you to Charles for the excellent work he does in making this wonderful resource available to so many. I am truly indebted to him.
Also to all the volunteers who give up their time so freely. The work you do is very much appreciated. A volunteer called Michelle Roberts even went to the trouble of placing flowers on my relatives graves for me! Her kindness and generosity has brought me comfort and peace. Keep up the good work..I really cannot thank you enough.
I am writing to say a huge thank you for all the wonderful work you do. I put out a request for a photo of my mum's gravesite, as i now live abroad and can no longer visit. A wonderful volunteer called Michelle got in touch with me, and supplied me with not one but six lovely photos!! This means so much to me. Having the photos now means that i am able in my own way to visit my mum's grave. Her kindness in undertaking my request touched my heart.
I hope someone can help with my request. I am looking to see if i can get a photograph of my mum's gravesite.
Her name is Helen Turner and she is buried in Loaninghill cemetery in Uphall, west Lothian, Scotland.
I do not have a grave number, but her grave can be located by walking into the front gate and following the path to your right. Walk around until you are at the top of the cemetery, my mum's grave is located on the left hand side.
She was 49 years old and passed away in december 1993. Her grave has a garden ornament of a st.bernard dog placed on it.
I really do hope someone can help, it would mean a great deal to me, as i now live overseas and am unable to visit in person.
What a great service you provide. This was such a help to me. Thanks
Thank you for the picture
