Rochford Nurse was my 1st Cousin 3x removed. I have quite a lot of family who lived/died in Brightlingsea. I had no idea just how many until I started my family tree research. I also have Brown's, Nurses, Martin, Nichols and Ives. My Great Grandparents Thomas Silas Brown and Mabel Felton are also buried in the church but sadly the grave is unmarked. I located the grave last year via help from the lady who holds the records and have asked for permission to place a small wooden cross with a brass plaque detailing their names and ages.
