He was a graduate of Christ Church Oxford. The Friends of the Cathedral are researching the biographies of all those members of the College who were killed in both World Wars. These biographies will be put in the public domain on the Christ Church website - hopefully by Remembrance Day 2011!Many thanks for your help - it's not all that easy to find some of
