In the Cork Examiner, of Saturday 27th June 1868, the following marriage notice appeared: 'Clarke-Howley - June 25th, at the Church of St. Andrew, Westland Row, Dublin, Henry Danvers Clarke, Esq., of Atcombe Court, Gloucestershire, to Henrietta, youngest daughter of the late Sir John Howley, her Majesty's First Serjeant (sic) in Ireland.'
