Burnt at the stake on Lynch Green opposite this cemetery during the Protestant persecutions. Was in the service of the Provost of Eton Sir Thomas Smith and was later a clerk of St George's Windsor. He is said to have revived during the burning and moved the remaining parts of his arms before finally dying.
