Charles Edward Nelson son of Thomas and Hannah Nelson who farmed at Catgill Hall at Egremont, Cumberland. Charles was born 1876, Egremont, Cumberland, England. Married Jane Walker of Sellafield her father Henry Walker a wealthy farmer and her mother Ester Hutchinson, in the July 1907 Whitehaven, Cumberland. They had 2 children Annie who died aged 9 years and Henry Nelson born 1909. Jane passed away in Whitehaven at the Glenholme Nursing home in 1922 and Charles remarried to Elizabeth Biglands Jan 1925 • Whitehaven, Cumberland, England. Charles died in 1952 and his 2nd wife Elizabeth died in 1954. They are all buried in North Cemetery, Egremont, Cumberland, England.
