Jessie was born 1876 in South Molton. dau of Emma Jane Quick and John Gratton. She died in High Bickington. She and husband William were well respected in Atherington. Jessie's obit and very detailed funeral appears in the 15 Jan 1948 issue of North Devon Journal. Her ggrandad John Quick was my ancestor uncle of Brushford Somerset.
