William married into my Quick branch line - as mentioned on my notes for wife Jessie. He was well respected as a groom and gardener in Atherington. In fact, they lived at Rectory Lodge - St. Mary's Parish Church and was very involved in Atherington's social community. A loving obit appears 09 Nov 1939 in the North Devon Journal. They married in South Molton 1900 on 01 Nov.
