George Tallentire was born bef 19 Nov 1802 at Holly bank farm, Renwick, Cumberland the son of Isaac Tallentire and Dorothy Tallentire, both of Renwick, Cumberland. George was Baptised at Renwick on 19 Nov 1802. Isaac belonged to the Tallentire's of Scalehouses, whilst Dorothy was the Tallentire's of Outhwaite. Dorothy was widowed when she married Isaac, her first husband being Thomas Kidd.
