Jane and her husband,Doctor John Dulhunty, arrived in Australia in 1826 on the ship 'Sesostris' on which Dr John was the Surgeon/Superintendent. Following John's death Jane, about ten years later returned to England, but most of their descendants live in Australia, where the sons of John and Jane were early pioneers.
