Samuel was married to Mary Ann(e) Taylor (nee Anthony)in June 1847 in St John the Evangelist, Notting Hill, London. It is believed he died of urinal fever due to rupture of the urethra,accidental, caused whilst riding a bike on 17 May 1892 in Worcester. Mary Ann(e) emigrated to Australia in 1910, on 'The Dorset', with most settling in and around Maryborough, Qld. Mary died in 1961 in Australia.
