John Beveridge Snowdon, joiner, age 52, died February 13th, 1907, from skull fractures due to a falling crane while working on the Firth of Forth (half a mile westward of Du Craig) bridge. Two years earlier, his wife Catherine Sinclair Snowdon, of West Crows Close, Queensferry, daughter of Daniel Sinclair, sawyer and Cecilia Crockett Sinclair, had died of a heart attack following illness on January 4th, 1905. Children were Daniel, Elizabeth Noble, Euphemia, and Helen Snowdon, who migrated from Queensferry in 1910 to Massachusetts, United States via Ellis Island, New York.
