In praise of the Law, He approached the fine arts of the state With morality and goodness, Bringing to the culture His entire profit, His entire delight. But for his only child, Elizabeth; Dearly beloved by many, He wept bitterly, He found no certainty, Nothing left, in the time after her death. He died on 26 December, 1717 Aged 75.
