of Swanscomb; Kent. He was the eldest son of Sir Ralph Weldon whose glorious tomb can be seen inside Swanscombe Church. Sir Anthony was born about 1580 or so (his parents were married at St Botolph's, Aldgate, London on 13 May 1579), and he is said to have been buried at Swanscombe on 27 Oct 1648 (no grave or memorial seen there).
