Baptised 27 August 1785 in Pannal, the youngest of her parents' twelve children. On 18 May 1835 she married Edward Burnett, a farmer from Kirby Malzeard. The marriage took place in Ripley, and she was living there with him when the 1841 and 1851 censuses were taken. She outlived him. He died in 1855, and presumably she then moved back to the family home in Haverah Park.
