died 17 September 1935 in Blenheim. Sarah was the maternal grandmother of George Gordon Lucas. Sarah was born Sarah Stephenson, 19 June 1841 in Durham, England. She was the wife of George Hardy also named here and they were the parents of Esther Lucas, named on the stone. Sarah was 94 when she died.
