John Harris was born in Landkey, Devon and Christened on 13th June 1804 in Landkey. He married Sally Sexon on 3rd July 1830 at Landkey. They had 13 children, and moved to live in Orchard Hill in the 1840's. John was an Agricultual Labourer, who later worked as a gardener.
