They argued; and Maquet sued Dumas for outstanding debts. Maquet was the co-author of a number of Dumas' works; including 'The 3 Musketeers'; 'La reine Margot'; 'The Black Tulip'; and 'The Count of Monte Cristo' He was President of the Society of Authors and Dramatic Composers.
