Born Sarah Jane Bennett 19 Sept 1842 in Camborne, Cornwall, daughter of James & Elizabeth Bennett. Married Richard Walters 26 Dec 1861. Richard Walters was a yeoman farmer in St Agnes, Cornwall. They had 6 children (one died in infancy). In retirement they lived with their daughter Edith Bickell and her husband Alpha Bickell at 53 Rother St Stratford-on-Avon, where she died on 18th May 1913.
