Anne Church nee Jacob's father was Henry Jacobs. Anne Jacobs had son William Jacobs known as William Jacobs Church before she married William Church the Bootmaker of The High Street Wootton Bassett. William's parents were Paul Church & Hannah from Tockenham Wilts. William & Anne Jacobs were married in London where William was working at the time. William Jacobs Church left Wilts & went up north & married.The Bootmaking business in The High Street Wootton Bassett was passed down to John Church bootmaker who was deaf & dumb & my father's uncle.
