Francis and Sarah appear to have married at Pakenham on 11 October 1791 and had various children including William baptised 1807 who later lived at Badwell Ash. There is a report in the Bury & Norwich Post on 14 June 1843 that Francis then 74 received a prize for bringing up 9 children in Stowlangtoft with very little parish support
