Gemmell Hutchison had a daughter Roberta Louise, born 1889 (not 1869) who died in 1966. A close enlarged view of your photograph shows that Roberta Louise Montgomery is noted on the gravestone (partially obscured) as Gemmell's daughter, and though the birth date is also partially obscured, I think it may well be 1889 rather than 1869. A search of the Scotland's People database shows a birth of a Louise Roberta Hutchison in 1889, but none in 1869. Similarly the death of Gemmell's son George appears to be 1918 rather than 1913, but it is difficult to be sure without visiting the grave. My grandfather was Gemmell Hutchison's nephew. Thank you so much for providing this photograph. The information on it has helped confirm some of the family history that survives, and enlarge on it. I hope that I may be able to visit the grave sometime in the future.
