Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

Sir Robert Strange was an older brother of my 5xGrGrandfather William STRANG. My Strang ancestors are all from Orkney. Obviously I am very interested in Robert Strange. I have visited the Academia di San Luca in Rome, and held the vellum bound book which has the entry of his election to that august body. I have also met with and exchanged info with Major Tim Strange of Balcaskie, the present holder of the title.
