Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I have recently obtained the will of Kenneth MacLeod (b 5 Jul 1864 Balvraid, Glenelg) the brother of my great grandfather John Duncan McLeod (b 10 Mar 1862 Balvraid, Glenelg). Roderick MacLeod, nephew of Bank House, Castlebay, Isle of Barra, a Bank Manager was an executor of his uncle Kenneth's will in 1945. There are various other family members named in the will that I am able to link directly to my Mac/McLeod family but Roderick is not a christian name normally associated with my particular Mac/McLeod family. The will of Kenneth MacLeod is from the Probate Registry at Oxford as he lived at St Kilda, Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire. I would love to be able to help you but I live in Worcestershire. My husband and I will be going to Scotland and taking some photos as I know Glenelg has several graves/headstones of my gg grandfathers family this year and am happy to pass them on. So basically I would like any details about Roderick so that I can tie up another connection correctly. I will reply even if sadly I find there is not a connection or link. Regards Pam Orme

My MacLeods of Glenelg travelled in Scotland and the Isles and I am interested in finding any of my MacLeod relatives.
