Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

My great grandfather was James Miller, and lived in Midlothian. I have very little in the way of records, we believe he was born in Lithuania in 1872, and came to Scotland as a coal miner at the turn of the century, where his name was anglicized to James Miller. His son John, my grandfather, was a coal miner in the same mine, from what we can gather. Thank you, Kevin
