Hello, I have been searching the family history of Catherine Ronaldson, and have recently been pointed in the direction of a memorial plaque erected in the Clyth cemetry, supposedly by her father Alexander Ronaldson(died 1911) on behalf of his son, Alexander, who died in 1881. However, while trying to find any further information on this, I found myself on your site, and reading your transcript from the above gravestone naming Alexander Ronaldson as having died in 1908, and his son, in 1916. So now I am quite confused! I have never seen the engraving in Clyth (I've never been to caithness) so I would love to be able to see the image you have here of this gravestone, since the other family members mentioned are all part of Catherine's family, and all also mentioned on the engraving in Clyth... and the details of all of them differ across the two gravestones! I would therefore be most grateful to you if I may view a copy of the image you have here. Perhaps it may help to solve the puzzle! Kind regards, Tsahya

For family history and genealogy purposes. I am blood related. If possible, can you send me every photograph of the Ronaldson family? Thank you very much since I live in the United States and can not take pictures myself. Your work is a HUGE help to me.

Alexander Ronaldson (1855-1908) is a second cousin, 2x removed. Many of my relatives are from Wick and Lybster, and I would certainly be willing to help in your efforts. I'm in the United States so any help would have to be database related. Thanks so much for this site and you work. John
