Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

This is the gravesite of my grandparents, my mother's parents. J stands for John. I had a picture of the headstone that I took when I visited Wick in 1983 with my mother, sister and our 3 daughters. I lost the photo in a flood that destroyed our home in August, 2007. I also lost all the other info that I had taken down during our time in Wick. My grandmother's last name was Falconer and I believe her mother's maiden name was Oag. We visited my mother's aunt, Annie Miller and her sons and went to her husband's gravesite. My mother had a brother who was killed during WWII--William Alexander Roy Sinclair. She had two half-brothers, last name of McKay. She had 3 sisters, Lorraine, Isobel, Chrissie and a brother name John (Jackie) My mother served in the ATS during WWII and met my father who served with the US Army Air Corps. She came to the United States in August, 1950, after a 5 year long-distance relationship. Thank you.

I am trying to compile the information on my grandparents, John Sinclair and Jemima Falconer McKay Sinclair. My mother was born and raised in Wick. Her name is Katherine Alsace Lorraine Sinclair Severtson. She was born on April 12, 1920, and she died on January 5, 1999. She met my father during WWII and she immigrated to the USA in September, 1950. Thank you. Valerie Evenson
