Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I am a member of the Friends of Bedford Cemetery Bedford Beds and I lead walks around the cemetery. One area that I look at is the WW1 & WW2 graves both Commonwealth War Grave headstones and details of soldiers that are buried abroad, but mentioned on family memorials. On the 30th July 1942 there were a number of bombs dropped on Bedford. Ten (10) people died (9 on the 30th and 1 the following day in hospital. Sergeant James Dalgleish was one of the casualties. I would like to include as much information as I can about those killed. Five were buried in Bedford Cemetery. A a young boy from London who was living in Bedford for 'safety' died and was taken back to London. I am trying to trace the burial locations of the others. If you can assist me with full burial information of Sgt James Dalgleish together with a photographic image of his grave that would be very much appreciated. I am happy to provide any additional information that you may require about me. Yours sincerely Colin Woolf - Friend of Bedford Cemetery
