Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

It is possible that this James Trezise is my 3rd Great Grandfather. I have only recently started researching my Family History and so could be wrong however 'my' James was born around the same time and did have a daughter called Elizabeth of a similar age. Thanks

James was the ancestor of many Trezise families in Australia

I am a member of James's extended family tree. My great grandfather lived down the road from James in St Just in Penwith and was his cousin
(requested on 02 08 2017)
James Trezise was the first husband of one of my 3 Greats Aunts, Margaret Grenfell Mitchell, who eventually emigrated to Victoria, Australia, along with four of her children. Other descendants also ended up in Australia. I am descended from her brother Joseph Mitchell (1801-1867) whose son Thomas Mitchell (1842-1922) emigrated to South Australia. Unfortunately, in life, neither aunt nor nephew knew of the other's presence in Australia.
