Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I am researching a biography of Claudius James Rich who was married to Mary, the sister of Maitland, who were the daughters of Sir James Mackintosh, chief justice of Bombay 1804-1811. It is very hard to get information about Mary's life and so I am trying to find out all that I can about her sibling and the children of her marriage to William Erskine. Two of their children, Mary and Claudius James were responsible for completing the probate after Mary Rich's death. I have no dates for Mary Erskine
