Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

While I have learned much about William Ticehurst (1769-1852) and his descendants, including veterinarian & friend Robert Edward Ticehurst (Oct 1917 - Oct 2009), I still do not know how that family is genealogically related to that of my dad, veterinarian Robert Leonard Ticehurst (Oct 1912 - Oct 2009), whose father Harry (1871-1964) came to the USA from Heathfield, East Sussex. Harry's ancestors primarily lived in Ashburnham, where there is evidence consistent with William's baptism. While this image most likely won't provide definitive information for my quest to link these 2 families, it will be another valued interesting piece of the puzzle.
