Edward Somerset Charrington and Charlotte Emma Charrington were the parents-in-law of one of my father's 4th cousins. I can confirm, by the way, that these two were a married couple: they married on 14th Apr 1898 in the Tewkesbury district, Charlotte's maiden name being Wise. They can be found together in the 1901 census at Horley, Surrey, and in the 1911 census at Overbury, Worcestershire. The 1951 probate record of Charlotte also confirms that Edward was her husband.
