Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

My father in law was Colin Lewis Thierry Clark and he came to Hinton Blewitt church and found a memorial to someone within his family tree on a stone under some coconut matting inside the church. He has since died but my mother in law was with him and vaguely recalls details but could not remember if it was Clark or Maynard or another family name and having seen Thierry on the web site I want to show her this to see if it jogs her memory. I would like this for my own children and neices and nephews (grandchildren of Colin) to see as well. Thank you.

This appears to be one of my ancestors, related I believe through Bevis Thierie/Thiery (born 2 Mar 1664 in Hinton Blewett and baptized there). I hope to visit St Margaret's this coming spring/summer, Covid restrictions permitting.
