Gerard is my 1st cousin 3x removed. I originate from Farnworth where many of my relatives have lived since 1730 I believe that the Broughtons on the gravestone are related to Gerards mother Ann who married a Manley Broughton in 1862 before she married James Bowden in 1871 Manly Broughton died in Dec 1868 and is buried in St James New Bury Farnworth
