My grandfather Henry was born in Wickhambrook suffolk in 1870. His father by the name of Robert Alcock was born in Wickhambrook in 1843.His father John Allcock was baptised 29th Dec 1791 Wickhambrook the son of James and Mary Allcock.This being very close to the family dates and same combination of names.Thank you John henry alcock.

My family came from Wickhambrook Suffolk.This may be a relation.My grand father stated that we were of German stock, I have not made the direct connection yet. I have several old family photos 1850 Possible James Alcock,Taken on a glass slide, found behind a photo of my father Sidney ,as a boy of ten.I would gladly forward a copy. Thankyou.
